Nice to see all women decked up fast and pray
for long lives of their husbands
But when will men deck up and fast for us
Is there an occasion for that too
We pray that our husbands live long lives
Why should not a wife live long?
You may think I'm feminist but I'm not
But logic is what I use
Years before men were the only family bread earners
But now we have a double incomes
Where sometimes the women earn more than the man
Do we really need to do this act
It's a nice occasion where all meet
Check which diamond necklace is better
Which saree is branded
There are men who might think why just meet
Let's not just have occasions once a year
Be the woman he wants all the time
Another question I ask today
When a husband dies
A women stops to wear sindoor, the mangalsutra, bangles, colourful clothes
To symbolize she was married now a widow
What about men?
When a wife dies how do we know the man is a widow?
The symbol of the lamp
If it goes of,  it will cause harm to your husband
If a husband lit it and it went off he would say " Ah! strong wind did that"
And not worry whether he would loose his wife
It is symbolic you may say
Let's enjoy each day with each other
Love each other
And promise to be with each other
Let's be happy then try do things just to do
Let's see why
And keep that smile all the time
