Don't let numbers matter

Don't let numbers matter

I don't know whether it right or wrong

and I don't know how many agree

but let’s not make our kids marks in Board exams

something to talk about

It puts a pressure on our kids

Each time they achieve something positive we post

But how many will post a failure and ask to cheer? None.

Social media is more of a status of what our kids are doing and achieving

You may say but we want to share our happiness

but what happens to ones whose kid are not achieving as per our social standards

It gives them low self-esteem

Since there mother is not sharing

Stop comparing and sharing what our kids do in school

Don't discuss how much the kid is getting

It puts so much pressure on them  you can’t imagine

They are kids at the end of the day they have a heart

Let us be careful and not break them apart

They may not be good in maths but they can draw

They may draw well but cannot write

They may be good in science but hate art

They may not be able to give a Chemical formulae but could bake a cake that will melt your heart

Every child has a talent and a dream

It's up to us to nurture that and not pressurize these little beings

Love your kids for who they are

Love them the way they are

Love them and let them know they matter more than anything else

Let our kids grow and bloom

Let them learn

Let them be

Let them be kids with a dream

And let us not get biased with boys and girls

Anyone can be anyone if they put their mind to it

and if they love to do what they do best

A kid once drew bottles all day

Today he is designing perfume bottles for company in Paris

A kid loved to drive cars

Today is test driving some of the world best automobiles

A kid loved playing video games all day

Today is testing them at a gaming company far away

A kid loved to cook

Today is a Master-chef somewhere

A kid loved to dress dolls and herself

Today she styles the stars on the red carpet

A kid loved to sing and dance all day

Today is winning awards all the way

A kid loved to dress everyone's hair

Today is a famous hairstylist

A kid loved to make new clothes

Today is a fashion designer styles models all the way

A kid loved to paint and draw

Today is a renowned artist

A kid love to read

Today is a writer of the best-selling novel

They have a dream

Let them shine

Let not the number dither their life

or take it away before time
